Like Frozen Snow on Mittens

I was opening the curtains and noticed the clouds this morning. I have never seen them look like this. My first thought was they look like a mattress, but when I posted it on FB, a friend said it looked like snow on mittens. It does, you know how the snow kind of freezes on the mittens.

The peppers are going crazy, this is my haul this morning and they are very hot, they are supposed to be banana peppers, someone mixed up the tag on the plants.  The little one I guess did not want to grow and is turning red.  I have had them turn red in the freezer which is kind of weird.  I have enough of them and hatch peppers for many batches of chili/ pots of beans and soups this winter.

The tomato plants look very straggly but they are blooming and I pick a few every day.  Since they are cherry tomatoes they very rarely make it in the house cos there is nothing better than a warm fresh real tomato off the vine.

Happy Halloween Month.
