I've Lost My Mind
Yesterday one of my knitting group asked if I would contact a woman as she told her I might help her out with some Christmas Stockings. I thought it was rude that she did this but... we wont go there. I thought about it and decided to sleep on it. I called the woman this morning. She told me her family had hand made Christmas stockings that a dear friend of hers had made and she died of cancer before she got her grandchildren's done. That really sucks. We talked and I decided that she needed these stockings. The only problem was the ones she wanted were old Mary Maxim patterns from the 60's or so. Well you can find pictures of them but you can't find the patterns anymore. So after looking at patterns and talking some more we settled on the angel for her granddaughter and the snowman for her grandson. So now I need to write out the patterns and change them around a bit and get some yarn. I think I have a good start on the yarn in my stash.
Here is my endeavor.

Sometimes you just have to help someone out because it is the right thing to do.
