Why?

 When I was a kid my mom always made homemade bread, oh the smell and hot out of the oven. I liked the crust with butter.  She always had a cake, pie, cookies, some dessert and it was homemade.

 Over the years people have chose fast food, processed food, easy food instead of making it.  I have always made my food from "scratch".  It is so much better.  

 My neighbor boy always wants Cinnamon Rolls for Christmas so on Christmas Eve I make them.  Yes it took me 6 hours from the time I started, made them and did all the dishes and delivered them.  But it was worth it, it is a lot of work but so satisfying.  I was a bit hesitant since it was foggy and cloudy this morning but the dough was perfect, the best dough I have ever made, I put them in the oven with the light on to raise.

I am still trying to get my sourdough bread loaf just right, I am getting there.  

 So why don't people make food from scratch anymore?  

 Can you smell them?
